Sydney Whale Watching Cruise Itinerary
Make the most of whale watching season as you admire these magnificent creatures playing around in the calm waters of the Pacific. This adventure to remember will take you to Sydney Heads, where you will find yourself amongst huge groups of humpback whales – about 16,000 each year.
Throughout the four-hour tour, we’ll take you from King St Wharf to Sydney Harbour, where you can marvel at some of the city’s best-loved attractions before we head out through Sydney Heads.
Along the way, you’ll listen to an informative commentary about the whales, learning more about their fascinating migration patterns and their unique behaviour in the wild. We’ll throw in some fun facts and stats, too, so you’ll finish the day knowing as much as possible about these creatures.
For lunch, you’ll get to dine on a delicious buffer BBQ on-board the boat (in the winter months, we’ll provide you with hot soup to keep the chill at bay), and we’ll provide tea, coffee, and water throughout the tour.
Our tour boat, the “Jerry Bailey”, has a carrying capacity of up to 180, but we keep it limited to 95 people on whale watching tours, so you can be sure to get a great vantage point (basically, you’ll absolutely get to see the whales if they’re about). In the outside viewing area, you can soak up the stunning views of the Pacific, or kick back and relax in the indoor lounge areas.
