1. Cadmans Cottage

Cadmans Cottage is a small sandstone cottage that was built in 1816, making it one of Australia’s oldest buildings. The cottage had four rooms and over the years was a police station and a sailor’s home.

2. Museum of Contemporary Art

The Museum of Contemporary Art holds over 4000 artworks from Australian artists across five floors. There are limited exhibitions that happen all throughout the year to check out.

Come down during one of the late sessions on Friday night and have a drink from the rooftop with amazing views of the surrounding area.

3. The Rocks Market

The market has everything you can imagine from delicious food to accessories and more! Every Saturday and Sunday you can expect a diverse range of stalls from jewellery, handmade accessories, perfume, and artwork.

4. Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge

There isn’t a better way to really see Sydney than climbing the Harbour Bridge. As you climb 1621 stairs, you’ll have breathtaking views across Sydney Harbour and the city skyline.

You can climb the bridge all throughout the day, during sunrise or sunset, and at night.

5. Dine in one of the many restaurants

The Rocks has many options for restaurants from fine dining to cafes and pubs. For fine dining, head down to Quay Restaurant or 6HEAD. For a casual cafe meal, you’ll find yourself at The Rocks Cafe or Canopy Cafe. Then for a pub feed, your top picks are The Squire’s Landing, Harbour View Hotel, and The Hero of Waterloo Hotel.

Some of these eateries even have a perfect view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
