This is not just a Sydney City Tour. The Sydney City Tour and Surrounds allows you to experience some of the most beautiful sights that this harbour city has to offer as well as the Northern Beaches, Manly and Bondi.

Morning Tour (approx 3.5hours)

We start the day with some expert commentary from your driver guide as you weave your way through the beautiful northern beach suburbs of Sydney. We head out over the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which opened in 1932 and is one of the city’s most well-known and photographed icons.

Just a few kilometres from Sydney is the picturesque Milson’s Point, located in one of Sydney’s most affluent suburbs. Here there are beautiful homes, churches and schools built in the late 1800s. There are incredible views of the harbour and the Sydney Opera House as well as an abundance of restaurants, cafes and boutique shops. Make sure you have your camera ready, as the view

Next we move on to the North Head Lookout, which offers views out to the North and South Head and over the Pacific Ocean. This breathtaking scenic lookout offers a superb panorama of the rugged Headlands and Manly. You may even be lucky enough to see some whales from this lookout if you are lucky.

Continue on to the seaside resort of Manly Beach, noted for its famous surf beach that stretches from Queenscliff up to the North Steyne Beach and Norfolk Pines. Here you will witness unsurpassed views of the entrance to Sydney Harbour. You can also walk along the beach, browse the shops or stroll the Corso and enjoy your morning tea in one of the many cafes (own expense).

Conclude the morning portion of your tour at the King Street Wharf approx 11.45am.

From here, you have some free time to enjoy Central Sydney and grab some lunch at your own leisure, or upgrade to scenic lunch cruise through Sydney Harbour. Enjoy a delicious lunch aboard the luxurious ship MV Sydney 2000 with Captain Cruises, as you marvel at the natural beauty of Sydney from the unique perspective of the water.

Afternoon Tour (approx 4hours)

Meet your driver back at the King Street Wharf at 2pm to recommence your complete Sydney experience. Situated at the very base of the Harbour Bridge we hear all about Sydney’s colourful and historic past as you tour through the birthplace of Sydney – The Rocks, a short distance from Circular Quay. Long ago this area was home to the indigenous Gadigal people but the land was claimed by European settlers in 1788.

From The Rocks we have a stunning view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Travel through Chinatown, right in the heart of Sydney. The area captures the excitement of Asian street life. It has a bright and lively atmosphere and full of restaurants, noodle-bars and bargain shopping.

Arrive at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair for a photo stop and witness superb views of the city skyline, Opera House, Bridge and Harbour. Not to be missed is the Royal Australian Naval Base at Garden Island, Sydney Tower and Sydney Town Hall. Sample the atmosphere as we drive through Kings Cross, with its buskers, coffee shops and clubs. Drive through the exclusive suburbs of Double Bay and Vaucluse before visiting The Gap, with its stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the Heads.

We complete this tour with a stop at the world famous Bondi and you’ll have time to stroll along Australia’s most famous surf beach. Soak up the sun, the surf and the sand with the locals and tourists alike. You can wander along the shoreline or take a dip in the cool ocean or even treat yourself to afternoon tea (own expense) from one of the many cafes or restaurants.

This very special Sydney City Tour will return you to Sydney with a camera full of fantastic memories of the wonder and beauty that Sydney and surrounds has to offer.
