It is a pioneer gallery for art and culture in Sydney – plus, it’s only a 15-minute walk away from the CBD, which makes it very central to everything else.

Darling Harbour

Darling Harbour is free to visit. Darling Harbour is completely free to visit, and you’ll be able to explore the harbourside of Sydney’s CBD and take in the iconic views of Sydney.

Especially if you are with family, because there are plenty of kids’ attractions there, like a play park.

Manly Beach

Manly has got some stunning little pockets of beach. Located in the northern beach region of Sydney, Manly is one of the most well-known beaches. You won’t feel like the Sydney CBD is 30 minutes away.

The top of Sydney’s beaches offers some beautiful views of the ocean. With dramatic cliff scenery that you can explore if you do one of the hikes there in Sydney.

Grab a coffee and head down to the Sydney Harbour Bridge for a morning walk. You’ll get a priceless view of the Opera House from the outside, and you’ll be able to see Sydney from a one-of-a-kind perspective.

Botanic Gardens

The Botanic Gardens are also free to get into! Check out the Eucalyptus Lawn or the Lotus Pond. You’ll get to see giant lilies sprawling out over the ponds.

Or, check out the succulent garden. It showcases all the quirkiest, robust plants that have adapted to survive in harsh conditions around Australia.

The Rocks

Explore these interesting, cobble-lined streets that are full of interesting history. It’s in a great location right next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and you’ll be able to explore all the shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
