The Westfield Tower in Sydney is the tallest building in the city. You can even see it from the Blue Mountains!
What is the tallest tower in Sydney?
Welcome to the Westfield Tower, which sits some 304 metres up into the sky. It’s the tallest building in the southern hemisphere.
It belongs to the World Federation of Great Towers, and it’s unique in its appearance.
Originally called and well-known by the locals as the Centre Point Tower, this part of Sydney offers clear views of the whole city below it, and you’ll get a great view of the whole Sydney skyline. It has its place within the Sydney skyline – it’s highly recognisable due to its unique appearance.
If you’re new to Sydney, and you want a good way to see everything in the city from a bird’s-eye perspective, then visiting the Westfield Tower is a great way to do this. At 83 floors up, you’ll be able to see everything in Sydney. Spot the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and look at some of the best horizons over the city.
The best shopping in Sydney
If you’re after a place to go shopping, the Westfield Tower is one of the best places! With a myriad of different department stores, boutique shops and restaurants layered within the tower, you won’t be stuck on places to go for a new pair of shoes.
The tower itself is a three-level turret which has 56 cables on it. This design has helped stabilise the tower. This means that despite its looming height, it’s actually one of the most stable towers in the world.
There’s also an observation deck as well as a skywalk! AT some 820 feet in the air, visitors can thoroughly enjoy a 360 degree view of the most famous landmarks Sydney has to offer.
Eating up at the tower restaurant, guests can enjoy a revolving restaurant which slowly does a 360 spin of the whole city. There’s a buffet where international dishes are served, and the restaurant goes around every 70 minutes.
Check out Bar 83 and dine on some incredible food with a great view!
