Bondi Beach is one of Australia’s greatest beaches, being right next to the iconic city of Sydney.
You can find the beach just a short 7 kilometres away from the inner city, taking for a truly unique beach getaway that takes less than a half an hour to get to!

Bondi Beach is renowned for its laidback style, a huge stretch of sand that provides visitors with plenty of space even on the busiest days. Both locals and tourists head to the soft sands and plunge into the refreshing waters for either a quick swim or a surf along the waves.

Go Surfing
Surfing is the number one activities in Bondi Beach, with pro surfers coming from all over the world to try out the region’s famous waves. Due to the popularity of the sport, the entire southern end of the beach is dedicated entirely to surfing, to minimise any hazardous occurrences that can be caused to nearby swimmers when surfers get a little too close. You don’t even need to be a pro to enjoy the surfing, with beginner lessons available for those interested in learning! You don’t even need to surf to enjoy the surfers, with many simply parking themselves in the soft sands and watching the pros compete for the best wave tricks!

Swim within the Seawater
Bondi is undoubtedly most famous for its pristine beach, with people coming from all over to swim in the salty waters of the ocean. Simply bring your bathers and enjoy a full day dipping in and out of the water and enjoying the crashing waves and tranquil outer ocean areas. Swim between the two flags to avoid the rough currents huge waves and cool down from the sweltering heat of the blazing sun!

Nearby to the beach is a couple of great scuba diving spots. Letting your adventure down to the ocean floor to discover some of the fantastic marine life that calls this region it’s home. Simply book on one of the specialist companies that offer these dives, and enjoy a day under the water’s surface!

If waves aren’t for you, why not head to the neighbouring Bondi Baths Pool? Nestled right alongside the ocean, this saltwater pool lets visitors feel as if they are within the ocean without the strong currents pushing and pulling you around. Access to the pool is free for any visitors, so snag yourself one of the comfy lounge chairs and set up for a perfect day in the sparkling Sydney sun.
